Hi, we’re Sienna and Dani Tamati, and we’re excited to celebrate women in the mining and resources industry. This event is extra special for us because not only do we share a passion for this industry, but we also get to work side by side as mother and daughter in a field that’s breaking down barriers.

Dani has been a real leader. She founded and is Director of THE resources HUB™ & Resourceful Women™, was recently President of the WA Mining Club, and has served as Co-Vice-Chair and on the board of the CoRE Learning Foundation for the past seven years. Throughout her personal career journey, Dani has always emphasised the need for more employment and career opportunities for women across male-dominated industries.

I (Sienna) have been lucky to learn from her every day—not just about business, but about leading with purpose, integrity, and passion. Seeing her commitment has shaped my own mission to support women in mining through Resourceful Women™, a platform where we can connect, lift each other up, and build meaningful careers.

We’ve seen firsthand how strong and capable women are in this industry, and we’re here today to remind you that no matter your background or experience, there’s a place for you in mining and blue-collar careers. This event is about celebrating the women already making an impact and inspiring the next generation to step up.

We want you to leave here feeling empowered, confident, and knowing you’re not alone. There’s a whole community of women—and men—in this industry ready to support each other, and we’re so excited to be part of that.
