Resourceful Women is a community-driven initiative dedicated to empowering and supporting women in the mining and resources sector. We exist to create opportunities, build confidence, and provide the tools women need to thrive—whether they’re starting out, returning to work, or looking to grow their careers within these traditionally male-dominated industries.
Our mission is to break barriers and redefine what it means to be a woman in mining and resources. We do this by offering access to valuable resources, events, and networking opportunities that connect women with industry professionals, employers, and mentors.
At our core, we are passionate about fostering a supportive, inclusive environment where women feel seen, heard, and inspired to pursue their goals. Through collaboration and community, we’re building a stronger, more diverse industry where women are not only participating—but leading, innovating, and shaping the future of mining and resources.
Our vision is clear: to empower women to reach their full potential, create meaningful careers, and drive lasting change across the sector.

What to Expect
At our October Sundowner, we’ll be unveiling our exciting new Resourceful Women memberships, set to officially launch after the event. These memberships are designed for women at all stages of their careers—whether you’re just starting out, re-entering the workforce, or looking to grow within the mining and resources industry.
During the event, Sienna Tamati will walk attendees through the different membership tiers, what each offers, and how they can support your professional development. At Resourceful Women, our mission is to ensure women are not only seen and heard but also set up for long-term success. We’re committed to helping you find longevity in your career, providing you with the right tools, guidance, and strategies to do what you love—and love what you do.
The October Sundowner also offers a fantastic opportunity to network—meet new faces, reconnect with contacts made at our August Seminar, and follow up on potential leads. Networking is a vital part of the mining and resources industry, and this event is designed to help you strengthen existing connections while opening new doors for future opportunities.
